Freddie van Mierlo is the Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Henley and Thame, first elected in July 2024. Prior to Parliament, he served on Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council and worked as a consultant for companies and patient groups, focusing on rare diseases, neurology, and oncology, bringing new treatments to patients across the UK and Europe. He currently holds multiple APPG officer positions, including Chair and Registered Contact for the Access to Medicines and Medical Devices group. Freddie is deeply committed to improving healthcare access and has highlighted issues such as deficiencies in ADHD services and environmental health in his constituency.
